Gabriel Willem

Gabriel Willem (he/they) is a Bristol-based actor and theatre artist originally from Indianapolis, IN (in America, it's okay if you don't know where it is). He has an MFA in Acting from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and a BFA in Acting and BA in Spanish from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Certificate in Translation Studies (a mouthful, they know!).

Some favourite roles include Peg in Hit the Wall (Ike Holter), Thersites in Troilus and Cressida, Konstantin in The Seagull (Anton Chekhov), Cassius in Julius Cesar, and Marat in Marat/Sade (Peter Weiss).

Other than theatre-making, he is a charity fundraiser for Open Up Music and a book club facilitator for Queer Reads Bristol. They can usually be found reading queer books, petting animals of any kind, taking naps, and drinking too much coffee. For more information, you can follow him on Instagram @gabe_willem (or @thegabelibrarian for bookish content) or at www.gabrielwillem.co.uk. Many thanks to Inner Voice Theatre Company for allowing them to be silly and American on stage in lovely Bristol!

Behind them, a man in a suit and hat sits in an armchair, looking towards the person. The stage has a worn, white wardrobe and a small table with a green desk lamp and a book.

The scene is from a theatrical performance with a dramatic backdrop featuring a painted city map, signs, and text. A woman in yellow and green plaid clothing is center stage, gesturing passionately with a tense expression. Four other actors are positioned around her, with one on the floor and others standing, all dressed in vintage or casual attire. The stage is lit with colorful lighting, creating a vibrant, intense atmosphere.

Robert Carden

Robert Carden first got into theatre as a child of 7, in Bristol, largely immediately being cast as villains. Rob completed a Theatre Studies AS level, and stayed involved through university. Throughout his work, Rob has largely played the eclectic edges that tie pieces together. Having mainly played in to the melodramatic as a child and teenager, it was a natural progression to move in to roles which flirt with ethical ambiguity, such as Titorelli in Kafka's The Trial and Alfred Doolittle in the King's Players' version of Pygmalion.

Rob is excited fore his return to the theatrical stage, after a period of playing and writing music. For the last few years, Rob has been a multi-instrumentalist musician, singer and songwriter. He has composed and worked on a number of tracks, largely focusing on folk and art-rock. One of Rob's tracks is available on Spotify and he is in the process of recording a full length album.

Ezra Clarke

During his school years Ezra completed both GCSE and AS Levels in Drama. As well as taking on a number of minor roles in his younger years, he also took on leading roles in his Sixth Forms years; playing Jack in Lord of the Flies and Watson in The Hound of the Baskervilles .

While attending university at Bates College in Maine, USA, Ezra received a minor in Theatre Studies. During his four years he played a wide number of roles which included: Prior Walter in Angels in America (Tony Kushner), Erie Smith in Hughie (Eugene O'Neill), Toby Belch in Twelfth Night , Alph in A Fight like no Other (a student written play), Minion in Demons of Dirigo (a student written play).

When not on stage Ezra enjoys various outdoor pursuits around Cornwall where he currently lives.
